How do you organize your digital life?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working hard on my second app and I hope I will be able to release it in the next week. For those of you who want to know what kind of app I’m currently developing: it’s an app to organize your digital life, e.g. your notes, checklists (todo, shopping, packing, …), bookmarks, recipes, and so on. It will sync all data with Springpad, an really awesome alternative to Evernote! You should give it a try, it is already really good and my daily mate for all that stuff. :)

The app will be released for HP Touchpad, Pre3, Veer and every other enyo-enabled webOS device! Stay tuned for some more informations and screenshots in the next few days.

Sven Ziegler

Vacation

Hi everyone,

I just want to inform you that I will be on vacation from 2011/12/31 until 2012/01/08! So in this time I won’t be able to support you. But as soon as I’m back I will read and answer all my mails.

I wish everyone a good start in 2012 and a happy new year!

ReadOnTouch PHONE: Finally available in HP App Catalog

Good news everyone,

ReadOnTouch PHONE made it finally to the HP App Catalog. Remember that this version is only available for the following devices: HP Veer, Palm Pre2, Palm PixiPlus (?), Palm Pre.

This app has been optimized for the usage on that devices. That optimizations are not included in other versions! But anyhow I could imagine that this app will only work well on the Veer and Pre2. The other devices may be too slow.

Any kind of feedback from you is really appreciated!

ReadOnTouch FREE: This are the limitations

Hi everyone,

this are the benefits of the PRO / PHONE version compared to the FREE version:

  • It allows you to select the number of articles to be downloaded.
  • It allows you to limit synchronization to unread articles.
  • It allows you to read articles everywhere, if you synced your reading list before leaving the house.
  • New articles can be added with a patched standard browser and with the Advanced Browser (1.2.6+)! (both TP only)
  • Articles can be opened in the Advanced Browser (TP only).
  • The article list fills the left panel; there are no banners or popups.

ReadOnTouch FREE: Finally available in HP App Catalog

Good news everyone,

the first version of ReadOnTouch FREE is now available in the HP App Catalog and this is also the first version for webOS 2.1 devices.

But be careful, performance-wise it is not the same on webOS 2.1 devices like on the HP Touchpad or HP Pre3. Don’t expect too much out of it on slower devices. Hopefully it is useable on the HP Veer and the Palm Pre2. Just give me some much appreciated feedback, please.

You can grab it here!

ReadOnTouch PRO: Another app review (UK)

Hi everyone,

a week ago my app was reviewed by “Internet Gumshoe”. An UK based online magazin about apps. To make it quick: they tested the version 1.0.1 and gave me app a really good final rating of 82%! :)

Thats amazing regarding the fact that ReadOnTouch PRO was not available for two whole weeks at that point. The pointed out one bug, but this bug is already fixed with the new version which is still waiting for approval by HP. And they mentioned that marking articles again as unread is a missing feature, but as you may know, this has also found it’s way into the app in the pending update.

You can find the review here: READONTOUCH PRO – 82%

ReadOnTouch: Everything is still pending by HP

Hi everyone,

six days ago I pushed the FREE Version to the app catalog and since then nothing has happened. Five days ago I pushed the PHONE version and since then nothing has happened. So I don’t need to talk about the update for the PRO version which was submitted after the last-mentioned…

Hopefully the apps gets approval by the next few days. So long, stay tuned.
